For spring 2002 designers dished an eclectic array of styles expressing freewheeling romanticism, softness, bohemian rhapsodies, florals, and ethnic influences abound this heavenly landscape. Here is a preview of spring's key looks and insight on how to wear them.

Bohemian Rhapsody: Reminiscent of the freespirited 70's with a twist of luxury. Patchwork tops, long, fluid chiffon dresses embroidered peasant tops, and eyelet blouses.

Wear It: Key to wearing the look successfully is in pieces. Pair a peasant top with pants and a low slung hip belt. A patchwork top with a solid skirt or pant, or a pheasant dress with a woven or ethnic bag. Flat-heeled sandals or wedge heels work best.

"prairie"

Little House on the Prairie hits the city. Blouses with cutouts, flounces, and frills. Flared skirts with ruffled details. Distressed denim, Navajo prints, fur tails, embroidered belts, and cowgirl boots are key.

Wear It: Ruffled blouses with worn denim, Navajo prints with turquoise jewelry, flared skirts with tee, or fitted jacket and wide hip belt.
